Product scope of application

The peripheral transmission scraper is suitable for scraping and skimming sludge in radial flow (circular) sedimentation tanks with larger diameters (>15m) in water plants or sewage treatment plants in water supply and drainage engineering.

Structure and working principle

The peripheral transmission scraper mainly consists of a central rotating support, main beams (truss beams, folded plate beams), guide vanes, scraper plates, collector devices, drive mechanisms, etc.

The raw water flows out from the bottom of the pool through the upper part of the central support pier, and after being distributed by the guide tube, it flows radially towards the water collection tank around the pool. As the radial flow velocity decreases, the suspended solids in the raw water are separated and settle at the bottom of the pool. The rotating truss is centered around the central support, and the end wheels rotate along the circumference of the tank under the action of the driving device, driving the lower scraper plate to slowly rotate and collect the sludge in the central collection tank of the sedimentation tank. It is discharged outside the tank by static water pressure or pump, and the upper floating slag is synchronously scraped by the scraper plate to the slag discharge hopper for discharge.
