Central transmission concentrator

The central drive thickener is mainly used in sludge concentration tanks to concentrate sludge by gravity, better separate the interstitial water in the sludge, further reduce the moisture content of the sludge, reduce the volume of the sludge, and discharge the concentrated sludge outside the tank.

Concentration is a method of reducing the volume of sludge, and in the process of sludge treatment, gravity concentration is generally used as a pretreatment form for sludge dewatering operation.

Structure and working principle

The central drive concentrator is mainly composed of a working bridge, a central drive device, a transmission shaft, a scraper arm, a scraper plate, underwater bearings, etc. When the equipment is in operation, sewage enters the stabilizing cylinder through the distribution pipe on the upper part of the concentration tank, and slowly diffuses around the concentration tank from the stabilizing cylinder. The sludge gradually settles to the bottom of the tank under the action of gravity, and is scraped by a scraper to the sludge collection tank at the center of the tank bottom. It is discharged outside the tank through a sludge discharge pipe. The scraper arm is fixed with a stirring bar, which provides a settling space for the flocculent sludge when rotating, accelerating the settling of the sludge and improving the sludge concentration effect.

The central transmission concentrator adopts worm gear transmission (cycloidal pinwheel reducer can be used for D<8m, and="" central="" rotary="" gear="" can="" be="" used="" for="" d="">14m), and the outer edge linear velocity of the scraper plate; 3m/min, the entire scraping mechanism can be manually adjusted for lifting (cannot be lifted with a cycloidal pinwheel reducer).
