Rotating Decanter

A decanter is a specialized mechanical equipment for wastewater treatment that uses a top-down displacement to remove the supernatant. During the drainage stage, the treated upper clear water can be decanted from the surface, making it a key equipment in the SBR process. It can also be installed in the "regulating sedimentation tank" to allow the settling water to enter the reaction tank at a constant flow rate, achieving stable treatment effects. Working principle

The rotary decanter consists of a decanting device, a skimming float device, a slewing support, a transmission device, and a sliding support. The driving mechanism descends from the idle starting position to the water surface at a constant speed according to a certain speed ratio. Under the guidance and traction of the sliding support, the decanting device and weir are moved downwards, and the supernatant in the reaction tank is continuously discharged from the weir through the carrier tube to the outside of the tank until the design water level depth.


Equipment features

Has strong adaptability to changes in water quality and quantity, with a decanting depth of up to 3.0m.

The carrier pipeline is made of anti-corrosion material, which has good corrosion resistance and sensitive and reliable operation.

The slewing bearing adopts an automatic fine-tuning device, efficient and low resistance sealing, reliable sealing, automatic centering, flexible rotation, and low energy consumption.

A scum baffle is installed at the outlet of the decanting weir to ensure that the effluent quality reaches the optimal state and the liquid level below the weir does not disturb during operation.

The overall structure is easy to install, the operation and management are simple, the operating cost is low, and the work is safe and reliable.

Adopting variable frequency speed regulation and PLC programmable automatic control or remote control from the central control room, it has a high degree of automation and convenient operation management.
