Cyclone sedimentation tank sand removal machine
The XCS type cyclone sedimentation tank sand removal machine uses hydraulic cyclone to separate mud, sand, and organic matter to achieve sand removal. It is widely used in pre-treatment processes in urban hotels, factories, mines, enterprises, and small and medium-sized water treatment projects.

Working principle of cyclone sedimentation tank
There are two types of cyclone sedimentation tanks: flat bottomed and conical bottomed. There is a sand storage hopper in the center of the tank bottom, and a sand removal machine is installed in the tank. The sand removal machine consists of a driving device, a mixer, a sand suction system, etc., and is matched with a subsequent sand water separator to form a complete set of sand removal treatment equipment. After passing through a flat and straight inlet channel, the inflow turbulence is reduced to a low point. The end of the inlet channel is a slope that can produce a wall attachment effect, which can allow some sand particles that have settled in the channel to enter the sedimentation tank along the slope. A baffle plate (only installed in small tanks) is installed at the inlet to make the water flow out of the plate bend down to the bottom plate of the selected area. The axial flow mixer brings the water flow towards the center of the pool and then upwards, forming a vortex water flow. Heavier sand particles fall into the sand collection area near a circular hole in the center of the pool, and the sand entering the sand hopper can be sucked up by air or pumped out, while lighter organic matter is separated from the sand particles due to the shear effect of the mixer on the water, and is guided to the outlet channel with the axial water flow.
Working principle of axial flow mixer
The rotation of the axial flow mixer helps to guide the sand particles before they enter the sand storage hopper, and the blades that clean and rotate the sand particles multiple times can improve the flow state of the water. The leading edge of the mixer blades is made into a large and circular shape (the diameter of the mixer can be designed and manufactured according to the size of the pool), which can prevent the entanglement of flocs and fibrous substances in the water.
main features
Compact structure, small footprint, and low equipment investment.
Low transmission efficiency and mechanical wear, minimal equipment failures, energy savings, and easy operation, management, and maintenance.
The sand settling effect is good, and the removal of inorganic sand particles from the water source is particularly significant.
According to the different water quality of the water source, corrosion-resistant materials are used, and the equipment has strong durability.
The process layout is flexible and convenient, easy to match and combine, and can adapt to the needs of segmented construction in different stages of the project.
